Aware of the power of self image, Herndon cosmetic dentist Dr. Abraham A. Katz, DDS centers his practice on the concept of changing lives through the power of a beautiful and healthy smile. Dr. Katz received his dental training at Howard University, College of Dentistry and served as an army dental officer at Fort Knox Kentucky from 1974-1976. Following his military service, Dr. Katz attended a two year residency in General Anesthesia at the Washington Hospital Center in Washington, D.C.

Dr. Katz has stayed current in his field by attending numerous seminars encompassing the most exciting and newest trends in dentistry. Dr. Katz enthusiasm to provide the best and most comprehensive services for his patient’s led him to the Las Vegas Institute of Advanced Dental Studies. A graduate of this highly acclaimed center for excellence in dentistry, Dr. katz now practices his profession offering the most advanced techniques in Cosmetic and Neuromuscular Dentistry developed at the institute. This training include Advanced Anterior Aesthetics; Full mouth Neuromuscular Reconstruction; Occlusion I,II,III,IV and V; Advanced computerized Electromyography(muscle activity) and joint analysis. Recently, he completed additional training in Oral Sedation Techniques at Baylor University College of Dentistry and also offers Invisalign braces, braces without wires, to his patients .

Dr. katz is a member of the Northern Virginia Dental Society, The American Dental Society, The American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, The Metropolitan LVI graduate Society, Academy of General Dentistry, The American Society of Dental Anesthesiologists and the International Association of Comprehensive Aesthetics.
